Salem Celebrates the Fourth
Monday, July 4 at 4:00pm to 10:00pm
Salem Maritime National Historic Site 160 Derby Street, Salem, MA
Come celebrate Independence Day in Salem!
Free children's activites begin at 4pm with the opening of the Kids' Space, where young ones can play games and get their faces painted.
Live entertainment by the DITTO Band on the Main Stage begins at 5pm and Opening Ceremonies begin at 7:15pm with a flyover by the 104th Fighter Wing from the Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, MA.
Salem ends its Independence Day celebration with a fireworks extravaganza at 9:15pm, accompanied by the Hillyer Festival Orchestra playing the 1812 Overture and other patriotic music throughout the entire fireworks display. Fireworks and concert are free and all are encouraged to attend.
